What are Charms?

Charms are an in-app currency used for premium features such as image and voice generation. Chatting is always unlimited and does not cost Charms.

Do I need to pay to chat?

No. Chatting with characters is unlimited on the free tier. A subscription and Charms only unlock extras like image and voice generation and higher quality.

What does a subscription include?

• Plus - unlimited chat, watermark-free images, stronger and faster responses, and a regular Charm allowance included with your plan.
• Premium - everything in Plus, a larger Charm allowance, and the Memory Book so a character always remembers the details you pin.

How am I billed?

Subscriptions are offered weekly or monthly, with an annual option for the best value. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Depending on where you sign up, billing is handled by our web payment provider or by the app store you installed the app from (Apple App Store or Google Play).

How do I buy Charms?

Visit the Charms page and pick a pack. Charm packs are one-time purchases, separate from your subscription.

Do Charms expire?

No. Charms never expire and remain in your balance until you use them.

How do I earn free Charms?

The Charms page has a daily check-in, invite rewards, follow rewards, and a bonus for creating a public character. There is a daily earning cap, and earned Charms never expire.

What happens if I run out of Charms?

Nothing stops you from chatting - chat is always unlimited and free. You just will not be able to generate images or voice until you top up on the Charms page or earn more. A subscription includes a regular Charm allowance and is usually better value than buying packs.

Why do some features cost Charms?

Image and voice generation use significantly more computing power than text. Charging Charms for those features lets us keep chat unlimited and the free tier generous, while covering the real cost of the heavier features.

Does my subscription renew automatically?

Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you turn off auto-renewal. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel anytime. Where you cancel depends on how you subscribed:

• On the web - cancel from your account billing settings.
• iPhone / iPad (Apple App Store) - open Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, and cancel there.
• Android (Google Play) - open the Play Store, go to Subscriptions, and cancel there.
• Other payment providers (for example PayPal or Whop) - manage the subscription on the platform you used to pay.

Note: deleting the app does not cancel your subscription - you must turn off auto-renewal where you subscribed.

What happens after I cancel?

You keep your subscription benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for, and any Charms you have stay in your balance. After that, the plan does not renew.

What is your refund policy?

Charms are consumable and are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law. Subscription charges for a period already started are non-refundable, except where required by law. Refunds for purchases made through an app store are handled by that store (Apple or Google) under its policies. For purchases made on the web, contact support@charmsy.io if something went wrong.

Will my price change?

Prices and plan inclusions may change over time. If a change affects your active subscription, we will let you know in advance.
